film typography

Night of the living dead: The Typography has a red bold, worn away  (as if it looks like a splat of blood) they have chosen this because it symbolises the mark of death from the undead (not a clean kill as if the text has emerged from someone being bitten by a zombie) and is used to enhance the zombies red eye indicating the rage and thirst for blood. Plus  throughout George Romero's(Directors) zombie series to show the creatures of the dead are back for more bloodshed.

Casino Royal(007): The Typography is bold and very straight with no fancy flicks and has the O's as a 0 with a gun on the end but it is in the shape of a 7 showing it is a 007(bond) film. It also has a glow effect with a trail of mist suggesting there is a mystery within the plot.
The Terminator:Its Typography has a scifi touch with a chrome look indicating it has something to do with a futuristic machine and it gives off the look of a retro 70's-80's feel with a future lazer effect. This helps it fit onto Arnold's leather jacket making it easy to read and put's Arnold in the spot light of he is THE TERMINATOR.

Jurassic Park:The Typography is very bold showing an interest look (amusement/circus look) to show it's appeal to the audience because this is the very straight forward looking titles because the message is within the look and sound of typography (its exaggerating a theme park where you can see real life dinosaurs) it fits together well and colour has the bright with dark to give you a personal opinion and is always linking to the bones of a T-Rex in the back ground.
Star Trek: Its Typography is very slanted to an angle showing it is a thick chunk of metal this indicates that its almost like the ships and future elements they use in the film. It also shows a a small dim shine (almost like a shine of a star) throughout the middle, giving it a scifi look and symbolises there is hope.
Toy Story: Its Typography has more of a friendly look with colours like yellow, blue and red. Its uses a bend effect with the letters to show its like a toy movement effect. and it has a red box surrounding the story and is symbolism for adventure because it has the word toy popping out.

Sucker Punch:The Typography is very fancy but lazy with the flicks at the edge of the letters, it fits in with the films style (a dezel punk look) and has the sun rising at the bottom of the title this shows off the shine on the metal of the text and is very fantasy looking for posh text and half polished and spots of dirt do not usually fit together.
