Film companies

Warner Brothers (known as WB) they are a big hit company that is well funded due to the profits of big smash hit block busters e.g the dark knight trilogy, harry potter, and the new hobbit series, and up coming films like batman vs superman dawn of justice, Lego movie 2,  and conjuring series. All of these release when major other films hit cinemas and Warner brothers higher famous director to make great and decent films to get as far as possible in the box office selling. They also make video games like the batman arkham games or apps stuff that appeals to technology audiences so that it promotes there company. not all of this has to be a big hit on big screens they also do stuff like the loony toons on a channel called boomerang who pay WB to use there product and they also release short films that may not be able to make it to the big screen so it released on DVD and Blue Ray instead e.g they release short film titles like DC animated series or Scooby Doo is owned by WB and as long as there product and merchandise is selling they keep making a large amount money it like a cycle pay every one from companies budget and release the products and make a much larger sum of money win win.

However there are film companies like Film 4, who make low budget films such as the inbetweeners, 40 year old virgin, street dance Asylum, Mock Buster made transmorphers and many others all have low budget films but have a good story. small companies like film 4 usually collaborate with other companies so that they all come together and they all pitch in to make the movie or they seek help to make the movie from a funder e.g. UK lottery fund makes films like street dance, pugsey the movie and even harry hills movie and any movie based off of British talent or films about a celebrity's who need a big hit and would entertain the audience and make a come back. They also have a partners like coca cola and kfc or even pepsi parter with these low companies to help fund there projects. But not all is good because in 2007 a paramount product known as transformers was scheduled to come out at the end of that year but as it was leading up to its big premier Asylum and mock buster released it two days before transformers but when paramount heard of this and filed a complaint saying that they where copying there ideas and taking advantage of there product so in the end no further action was taken but this was not over for in 2012 two more films were made 1 being american battle ship again on the year battle ship was being release and in the end yet another law suit was sent saying it was copy right so they just changed the name to american war ship but of course another film known as the hobbit was to premier that year as well   again Asylum went ahead and made yet another film known as age of the hobbit and was told never to release
