1)  Extreme long shot: this shot is taken from more than a mile away setting the scene e.g holly wood. It is also known as the established shot. it shows the outsides of buildings landscapes even famous tourist sites to show a well known location.

2) long shot: this shot shows a medium distance depending on where the audience stands looking at the screen its a shot that includes the whole of the characters body from top to bottom of the screen frames and has plenty of back ground and images /Full Shot

3) Medium shot: this shot shows a character from the waste up and is used for speaking scenes and close up action scenes only. There are two variations of this- the two shot and the three shot which includes two or three characters in a shoot.

4) Up close shot: this shot is one with not a lot of background showing and shows audience facial features and is shown only when characters are interacting with another character or object with this shot it could take us into the mind of what the characters are thinking in present time.

5) Extreme close up: is a close up that magnified beyond what the human eye can see. this shot is used as a close up on human eyes the mouth nose or anybody part. its is used as a dramatical effect and gets the audience to look at one whole part and not get distracted with the back ground.
